How to be a better designer.

Someone asked me during the Q&A portion of my signing last night about how to take a concept and turn it into a finished pattern. I said a lot of things, but one of the main things I stressed was that I still learn. I still read design books, I've attended workshops, I take advice from tech editors and work to be better at what I do!

Then, just now, I got an email about a new online course that one of my favorite tech editors, Kate Atherly is teaching. So I put my money where my mouth is and signed up!

Surely this was a sign right?

Click HERE for a link to the course!

This will be my first time doing an online course and I'm really excited! I feel like I'll get a lot more out of this than I do with workshops which are usually only a few hours.

  1. Good for you. I wish I didn't feel like such an old dog trying to learn new tricks.
